This is a list for wireless equipment that would be used for mounting the antenna out doors on a mast or TV antenna seen commonly around on peoples homes, The higher you can mount the antenna generally will get a better signal, to operate correctly you need good or near line of sight to the access point you are trying to connect to. Tile roofs and dry trees should be not much of a issue but mounting near tin or with a metal object in the path of the line of sight to the access point can interfere with the wireless signal.
1) 2.45GHz, Yagi YR-24-01 Antenna with a gain of 16dbi

2) Pigtail cable which adapts Card socket to the Antenna Cable.

3) WRT54GL router Flashed with DD-WRT.

4) simple passive Power Over Earthernet to supply the routers power over the CAT5 cable.

5) 30M cat5 cable to supply power and connection to the router

6) A water proof housing for the router.

7) Mounting bracket for the waterproof housing.
